The Me Project: Prioritizing Your Wellbeing with a Powerful Morning Routine

Did you know that the first 40 minutes of your morning can set the tone for your entire day? By prioritizing your wellbeing during this crucial time, you can cultivate a greater sense of focus, energy, and purpose that can carry you through even the most challenging tasks.

That’s why the Me Project, a 3-month dedicated time to improve your physical, mental, social, financial, and spiritual wellbeing, places so much emphasis on creating a powerful morning routine. 

Here’s is why we are starting it in March:

March is considered a high-energy month in Ayurveda because it marks the beginning of spring, which is a time of increased Pitta dosha. Pitta dosha is associated with qualities like heat, intensity, and transformation. During spring, Pitta dosha is naturally high, and this can lead to feelings of increased energy, motivation, and a desire to take action and make changes.

Here’s how you can create a morning routine that supports your overall wellbeing:

Meditation: Begin your day with a few minutes of meditation. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and focus on your breath. Notice any thoughts that arise, but don’t engage with them. Simply let them pass and return your attention to your breath. This can help you cultivate a calm and centered mindset, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve your overall mental wellbeing.

For the next 90 days, incorporate these practices into your morning routine, beginning with meditation and setting an intention for each day ahead. Start by choosing one or two areas of wellbeing to focus on each week, and gradually add in more practices as you feel comfortable.
